Annual rock festival held at the Naeba Ski Resort, in Niigata Prefecture. The 3 day event, is the largest outdoor music event in Japan. The first festival, in 1997, was held on the nearby Mt. Fuji, giving the festival its name. Naeba however, is far removed from Japan’s sacred mountain.
